Embark on a Legendary Journey through Time and Myth!

The ancient gods of the Americas have chosen three brave mortals from different time periods  to test their survival skills. These champions must prove themselves worthy of sainthood by navigating treacherous battles against mythical creatures from Latin American legends. The question is: Do you have what it takes to survive?

In Heart of Cards, you’ll take control of one of three heroes, as you journey through an ever-changing world filled with legendary allies and monstrous foes. Collect powerful cards from Latin American folklore, level up your main character by defeating fierce enemies, and prepare for an epic showdown with a mighty boss. Your strategy, mettle, and luck will be the key to survival!

Features:

• Strategic Turn-Based Battles: Collect and battle with over 20 unique cards, each with its own stats and abilities. Plan your moves carefully to defeat enemies and come out on top!
• Dynamic Replayability: The world changes with every playthrough. Discover new allies, face different challenges, and test your strategic skills each time.
• Character Progression: Grow your main character’s strength after each battle. Prepare your team and refine your strategy for the ultimate boss fight at the end!

Controls & Instructions:

• Mouse only
  • Click to move across the card map.
  • Drag & drop or click to play cards during combat.

Overworld:

• Choose your main character and embark on your journey from the overworld map. Explore adjacent zones to discover new cards and prepare for your first battle!

Combat Mechanics:

• Your main character begins the battle  at the bottom center of the combat field. Place your additional cards onto the battlefield, then select any of your cards to attack an enemy card. Once you attack, the enemy will retaliate, so stay on your toes!
• Defeat all enemy cards to win the battle!
• Life Points Matter! Keep an eye on your Life Points—if one of your cards’ Life Points drop to zero, that card is destroyed. If your main character’s Life Points reach zero, it’s Game Over!
• Special Card Effects: Some cards have unique abilities, like healing or boosting damage and block. Use them wisely, as they’re consumed after use.
• Tougher Enemies Ahead: As you progress, enemies become more powerful and numerous. Strategize with your allies and consumable cards to survive!
